The Shaare Zion Lions The Lions are Shaare Zion's baseball team and they compete in the Montreal Synagogue Baseball League. They play all summer long against other Montreal synagogues. Come out and see them!
Latest Events-Sunday June 17 at 10:00am: The Lions REturn to the Field! Join them for the season opener as they attempt to win their 4th championship in a row! Stay tunes for the full season's schedule.
-Sunday January 12, 2012- The Shaare Zion Lions supported and participated in the JNF Montreal inaugural Ball Hockey Tournament which took place at Bialik High School on Sunday January 12. Close to $30,000 was raised towards outdoor gym equipment for the Iris village in Be’er Sheva, Israel, a residential home for autistic individuals. Thank you to our players Neil Bernstein, Uri Carnat, Paul Graif, Bruce Sailofsky, Clifford Singer, Mark Singer, Morris Szwimer and Asher Tannenbaum. Special thanks to Guaranteed Industries for being the Lions main sponsor.
